Saatva sells its mattresses under one set of terms — a 365-night home trial, the Friends for Life warranty and free White Glove delivery on every model. What changes from model to model is the build, the firmness and who the brand designed it for. Here is the lineup, with Queen prices and the profile each one is actually built around.

This guide narrows down one need covered in our best luxury mattresses.

The matrix, in one paragraph

Most sleepers should buy the
Saatva Classic
. Chronic back or joint conditions — Saatva Rx. Couples with mismatched firmness preferences — Saatva Solaire. Bigger bodies — Saatva HD. Hot sleepers — Saatva Latex Hybrid. Memory foam fans — Saatva Contour5 or Loom & Leaf. Lowest entry price — Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid. Children aged 3 to 12 — Saatva Youth.

Saatva Prices by Size

List prices for the lineup, before any sale. The Classic is shown at its 11.5″ height; the 14.5″ build adds $20 on every size. A dash means Saatva does not offer that model in that size.

Size Saatva Classic Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid Saatva Latex Hybrid Saatva Contour5 Saatva HD
Twin $1,449 $1,399 $1,819 $2,029 $2,139
Twin XL $1,584 $1,524 $1,929 $2,104 $2,414
Full $2,029 $1,849 $2,479 $3,019 $3,229
Queen $2,229 $2,149 $2,759 $3,179 $3,639
King $2,729 $2,649 $3,279 $3,849 $4,269
Cal King $2,729 $2,649 $3,279 $3,849 $4,269
Split King $3,168 $3,048 $3,858 $4,208 $4,828

The ordering of the range follows the price: the Memory Foam Hybrid is the cheapest way into Saatva at $1,399 for a Twin and $2,149 for a Queen, the Classic sits above it at $1,449 and $2,229, and the Latex Hybrid, Contour5 and HD climb from there. Loom & Leaf is priced level with the Contour5 at $3,179 for a Queen, with a different firmness choice underneath it. The Rx and the HD carry the same price at every size, so the choice between them is about who sleeps on it rather than about budget. Saatva Youth is offered in Twin, Twin XL and Full. The product page lists the Twin at $1,089; its displayed sale price at the time of the source check was $864. Saatva’s sale page also showed Youth prices from $799 to $939 while the product page showed the selected Twin, so this guide uses the model-specific Twin price rather than mixing sizes or sale selectors. There is no Queen size.

Firmness you can actually order. The Classic comes in Plush Soft (3/10), Luxury Firm (5-7/10) and Firm (8/10). The Memory Foam Hybrid comes in one setting, Medium (5-7/10). The Latex Hybrid comes in Medium-Firm (6/10). The HD comes in Medium-Firm (5-7/10), rated on sleepers weighing 300 to 500 pounds, with Saatva noting that sleepers under 300 pounds find it firmer. The Contour5 comes in Medium (5-7/10) and Loom & Leaf in Relaxed Firm (5-7/10) or Firm (8/10). The Solaire is the adjustable one: 50 firmness settings, not a fixed feel, and dual-sided adjustment on Queen size and larger. The Youth is dual-sided by age — Plush Soft for ages 3 to 7, Medium-Firm (5-7/10) for ages 8 to 12.

Trial, warranty and delivery apply to all of them. Saatva runs a 365-night trial on every model above, with a $99 pickup fee if you return, the Friends for Life warranty, and free White Glove delivery with in-room setup and the old mattress removed on request. Saatva states its mattresses are made to order, which is why delivery is scheduled rather than dropped at the door. Nothing in that list changes with the model you pick; only the price and the firmness do.

Where the Money Goes

Read down the price table and the range splits in two. Below $3,000 for a Queen you are choosing between general-purpose mattresses: the Memory Foam Hybrid at $2,149 is the cheapest Saatva here, the Classic at $2,229 adds the dual-coil build and three firmness settings for $80 more, and the Latex Hybrid at $2,759 adds natural latex over coils. Above $3,000 — Contour5, Loom & Leaf, HD and Rx — every purchase buys one specific thing: a cooling build, a second firmness option, a weight rating, or a positioning for back and joint conditions. None of those four is a better mattress in general than the Classic; each of them is better at one job, and paying the premium only makes sense if that is your job.

Choosing by Sleep Position

Saatva publishes its own guidance against each model rather than a single answer, and it lines up like this. Side sleepers and lighter sleepers are pointed to Plush Soft (3/10) on the Classic; most sleepers are pointed to Luxury Firm (5-7/10), which Saatva lists as its most popular setting for all positions; sleepers weighing 250 to 300 pounds are pointed to Firm (8/10). Back and stomach sleepers are the target the Latex Hybrid is written for at Medium-Firm (6/10), and side and combination sleepers are the target for the Memory Foam Hybrid at Medium (5-7/10). Couples with different firmness preferences are named twice — on the Latex Hybrid and on the Contour5 — because a medium feel splits the difference better than a firm one.

Two models in the range are not general-purpose. The HD is rated for sleepers of 300 to 500 pounds and Saatva warns that anyone under 300 pounds will find it firmer than the printed scale suggests. The Solaire has no single firmness to choose at all: it sells 50 adjustable settings, and it is the only model in the line where you change the feel after delivery instead of before it.

1. Saatva Classic — the default for most sleepers ($1,904 queen)

Three comfort levels in one mattress: Plush Soft (3/10), which Saatva lists for side sleepers and lighter-weight sleepers; Luxury Firm (5-7/10), the brand’s own bestseller and the level it lists for all sleep positions; and Firm (8/10), listed for stomach sleepers and for sleepers weighing 250 to 300 pounds. It comes in 11.5″ or 14.5″ heights with a 3″ Euro pillow top, and Saatva says the dual-coil build lets more air through to disperse body heat. Lumbar Zone® Technology runs through the centre third. List $2,229.

2. Saatva Rx — chronic pain ($3,214 queen)

The one model Saatva frames as condition-specific: it describes the Rx as specially designed for sleepers with serious and chronic back and joint conditions, and it does not position it for normal aches — for those, Saatva points buyers back to the Classic. The construction is an 8″ Comfort Coil Unit of triple-tempered recycled steel springs, three high-density foam rails around the perimeter, micro-coils, and a graphite plus phase-change memory foam layer. One comfort setting: Supportive Plush. List $3,639.

3. Saatva Solaire — couples who disagree ($4,264 queen)

Fifty firmness settings, and in Queen size and larger each side is set independently of the other. The comfort layers are flippable — natural latex side up for a more responsive feel, memory foam side up for a body-hugging one. Saatva lists virtually no motion transfer and pressure relief in any firmness setting. List $4,789.

Depending on what matters most to you, these guides go deeper:

4. Saatva HD — bigger bodies ($3,214 queen)

Saatva says the HD is engineered to comfortably support sleepers up to 500 lbs with a high-durability coil base. It lists two comfort settings, both at 5-7/10, and adds that sleepers under 300 pounds will find it firmer in feel — this is a mattress built around heavier bodies. Natural latex, a 3″ Euro pillow top with a hand-tufted finish, and Lumbar Zone® Technology through the centre third. List $3,639.

5. Saatva Contour5 — all-foam with a cooling layer ($2,804 queen)

One firmness, Medium (5-7/10), in an all-foam build: 3″ of high-density 5 lb memory foam over a high-density base, with a CoolVent™ System and a patented Lumbar Zone® PCM Matrix in the middle third. Saatva lists CertiPUR-US® foams, GREENGUARD® Gold certification and an American Chiropractic Association endorsement for this model. List $3,179.

6. Saatva Latex Hybrid — hot sleepers ($2,434 queen)

Medium-Firm (6/10), positioned by Saatva for all sleep positions and specifically for back and stomach sleepers. The comfort layer is an ergonomic five-zone natural latex slab with vented airflow channels, sitting on individually wrapped coils; the cover blends organic cotton with temperature-regulating organic wool. Certifications listed: GOLS-certified latex, eco-INSTITUT®, GREENGUARD® Gold, plus an American Chiropractic Association endorsement. List $2,759.

7. Loom & Leaf — the deeper memory foam feel ($2,804 queen)

The all-foam model that gives you a choice: Relaxed Firm (5-7/10) or Firm (8/10), both at the same price. A 5 lb memory foam core described as body-hugging, a breathable organic cotton cover, gel-infused memory foam with micro perforations, and Lumbar Zone® quilting with a gel lumbar crown. List $3,179.

8. Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid — the entry price ($1,824 queen)

Sleeps at Medium (5-7/10), which Saatva calls the perfect medium firmness, over individually wrapped coils. Its proprietary LuxeCool™ system draws heat away rather than letting memory foam hold it — Saatva describes it as keeping sleepers cooler than regular memory foam mattresses. Lumbar Zone® quilting with gel-infused memory foam through the middle third. List $2,149.

9. Saatva Youth — children ($864 twin)

A dual-sided hybrid for ages 3 to 12. One side sits at Plush Soft (3/10) for ages 3-7, the other at Medium-Firm (5-7/10) for ages 8-12, so the mattress gets firmer as the child grows. Lumbar Zone® quilting on both sides, a dual-sided coil unit, and a water-resistant cover. Available in Twin, Twin XL and Full. List $1,089 (Twin).

What about an adjustable base?

Saatva sells two — the Saatva Adjustable Base and the Saatva Adjustable Base Plus — and every mattress page lists adjustable-base compatibility among its setup options. There is no per-model difference: the same compatibility note appears across the lineup. The one exception Saatva notes is the Classic in its 14.5″ height, which the company’s own base page excludes.

Questions readers ask us

Which Saatva should most people buy?
The Classic in Luxury Firm (5-7/10). It is the level Saatva calls its most popular comfort level, and the Classic is the only model in the line with three firmness settings to choose between.
Is there a Saatva mattress under $1,000 at Queen?
No. The cheapest adult Saatva at Queen is the Memory Foam Hybrid at $1,824 in the current sale. Under $1,000 you are into the Youth in Twin, which is $864 in the sale — a children’s mattress, sized Twin, Twin XL and Full.
Do the cheaper models get worse trial terms?
No. Every model page lists the same 365-night home trial with a $99 pickup fee on a return, the same Friends for Life warranty, and free White Glove delivery with in-room setup. The terms do not change with the price of the mattress.
