Who is the Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery for?
The Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery mattress is for parents who want a natural cot bed mattress rather than a synthetic foam one. It suits families who already trust Woolroom for wool bedding, who prefer fibre-based fillings over polyurethane, and who are furnishing a nursery or cot bed rather than an adult bedroom. It is a cot bed product, so it belongs in a nursery, not in a master bedroom, and not on an adult frame.
It is also a fit for households in the regions Woolroom ships to, since the brand runs a country and region selector covering the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, the European Union and many more markets, with prices shown in USD, GBP, CAD or EUR depending on where you shop. Woolroom supports English and French across its site, and the brand runs physical Wool ID stores alongside its online shop, so buyers who want to see wool products in person before committing have that option.
What does the mattress actually contain?
The product is presented by Woolroom as a natural cot bed mattress, and the brand’s positioning across its whole catalogue is wool-first. Woolroom operates a Learning Centre and a Wool ID programme, which signals that wool content and wool education are central to how the company sells. For a nursery mattress, that wool-led construction is the main reason to consider it over a standard foam cot mattress.
Woolroom’s own product title for this model is the Deluxe Nursery Mattress, described as a natural cot bed mattress. The Kids Deluxe Nursery naming is how the product is addressed in the wider Woolroom range. Buyers should confirm the exact size and depth against their cot bed before ordering, since cot bed dimensions vary between manufacturers and regions.

How does a wool nursery mattress feel and support a child?
A wool-filled cot mattress behaves differently from a foam one. Wool is a breathable fibre that manages moisture, which matters in a nursery where temperature swings and accidents are common. Parents choosing Woolroom are typically buying for that fibre behaviour rather than for a firmness number, since cot mattresses are generally chosen for safe, flat, supportive placement rather than for plush comfort layers.
Support in a cot bed comes from the mattress sitting flat and stable on the base. Woolroom’s positioning as a natural cot bed mattress suggests a fibre construction rather than a layered foam stack, which is what most parents looking for a non-foam nursery option are after. If your priority is a specific firmness rating or a foam feel, this is not the category to shop in.
What does it cost and what are the buying conditions?
Woolroom prices this product in the currency of your selected region, so a shopper in the United States sees USD and a shopper in the United Kingdom sees GBP. The brand’s country selector covers a very long list of markets, which means availability and pricing presentation will match your location. Check the current price on the Woolroom site for your region before ordering, since it will display in your local currency.
Woolroom also runs a Learning Centre and publishes on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, so buyers who want to research wool care, wool benefits and nursery setup have brand-published material to work through. The brand lists a Contact Us page and a dedicated Learning Centre in its main navigation, alongside its Wool ID stores.

Who should NOT buy the Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery?
Skip this mattress if you are shopping for an adult bed. It is a cot bed product and will not fit an adult frame, and no trial or warranty terms are confirmed on this page for this model. If you want a foam mattress, a specific firmness grade, or a mattress with a published firmness number, this is the wrong category entirely.
Also skip it if your region is not served by Woolroom’s shipping, or if you need a mattress with a stated trial and return policy and Woolroom has not published one for your market. Parents who need a waterproof cover as standard, or who want a stated depth in centimetres, should confirm those details with the brand before buying, since they are not part of what this page can confirm.
How does the Saatva Classic compare as an adult alternative?
The Saatva Classic is an innerspring mattress with a 3 inch Euro pillow top, a dual coil design using over 1,000 recycled carbon steel coils in full size and up, and triple tempered coils for durability. It comes in three comfort levels: Plush Soft at 3 out of 10, Luxury Firm at 5 to 7 out of 10, and Firm at 8 out of 10. It carries CertiPUR-US certified foams, GREENGUARD Gold certification, and an endorsement from the American Chiropractic Association.
Where the Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery is a nursery product, the Saatva Classic is a full adult mattress with a 365 night home trial, free white glove delivery including in room setup and old mattress removal, and a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. It also features patented Lumbar Zone Technology for spinal alignment, a breathable organic cotton cover treated with Guardin botanical antimicrobial treatment, and sturdy edge support. For the parents buying this nursery mattress, the Saatva Classic is the natural pick for their own bed.

World Sleep Almanac score: 7.6/10
The World Sleep Almanac editorial score for the Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery is 7.6 out of 10, judged on five criteria: price at equal size, trial and returns, warranty, materials and construction, and public customer reviews. Materials and construction carry the highest weight here, since Woolroom’s wool-first positioning is the product’s clearest strength. Trial, returns and warranty terms are not confirmed for this model in the markets checked, which holds the score back from the high eights. The score is editorial and is not a hands-on test result.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery a foam mattress?
No. Woolroom positions this as a natural cot bed mattress, and the brand’s whole catalogue is built around wool rather than polyurethane foam. Parents specifically trying to avoid foam in the nursery are the core audience for this product.
Does Woolroom ship to my country?
Woolroom runs a country and region selector that covers a very long list of markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and the European Union, with local currency display. Confirm your region on the brand’s site to see availability and pricing for where you live.
Can I buy Woolroom products in person?
Yes. Woolroom operates Wool ID stores in addition to its online shop, and the brand links to them from its main navigation. If you want to see wool products before buying, check whether a store is within reach of you.
What firmness is the Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery?
Woolroom does not publish a firmness number for this cot mattress. Cot bed mattresses are generally chosen for flat, stable support rather than a comfort grade, so confirm the depth and fit against your specific cot bed before ordering.
Should I buy this or a Saatva Classic?
They solve different problems. The Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery is for a cot bed in a nursery. The Saatva Classic is an adult innerspring mattress with three comfort levels, a 365 night trial and a lifetime warranty. Most households buying one will eventually need the other.

Verdict
The Woolroom Kids Deluxe Nursery is the right buy for parents who want a natural, wool-led cot bed mattress and who are furnishing a nursery, not a bedroom. It is the wrong buy for anyone shopping for an adult mattress, for anyone who needs a stated firmness grade, or for anyone who requires a published trial and warranty before ordering. For the adult side of the household, the Saatva Classic covers the trial, delivery and warranty ground that this nursery product does not attempt to cover.
