Its Premium Cooling Cover sits above copper, graphite and silver-infused memory foam, and the whole comfort system rests on two separate coil layers: 1,386 individually wrapped NanoCoils and a 1,000 Foam Encased Pocketed Coil System. That combination is the reason to consider it. It is designed to cradle pressure points, keep the surface temperature regulated, and limit motion transfer between partners, all while holding a tall, hotel-style profile. Englander offers it in four comfort levels, from Firm to Ultra Plush, so the same build can serve a stomach sleeper or a side sleeper who wants to sink in. If you want a plush, tech-forward innerspring with antimicrobial foam and a 10-year non-prorated warranty, the Cohen Euro Top deserves a place on your shortlist.

We also weigh this mattress against its rivals in our best innerspring mattresses.

Our pick

Saatva Classicthe alternative if you want a plush innerspring with a long trial and free setup

365-night home trial

Free white-glove delivery and old-mattress removal

Lifetime warranty

Three comfort levels including Plush Soft, Luxury Firm and Firm

Check today’s Saatva price →

Who is the Englander Cohen Euro Top for?

The Cohen Euro Top suits sleepers who want a tall, plush mattress with layered support rather than a single block of foam. It fits side sleepers who need pressure relief at the hips and shoulders, couples who want reduced motion transfer, and anyone who sleeps warm and values a cooling, antimicrobial cover. It also works for buyers who prefer a traditional innerspring feel with modern foam comfort on top.

More specifically, this mattress is built for people who care about three things at once: a soft surface, a cool surface, and a stable surface. The memory foam layer handles cradling and temperature control, the NanoCoils handle contouring, and the pocketed coil base handles alignment and motion isolation. If that profile matches how you sleep, the Cohen Euro Top is aimed squarely at you.

What are the key specifications of the Cohen Euro Top?

Englander lists the Cohen Euro Top at a plush 15-inch profile, with an overall height of 13.5 inches plus or minus half an inch. It ships in four comfort levels: Firm, Medium, Plush and Ultra Plush. The mattress is adjustable-base compatible and carries a 10-year non-prorated warranty.

Specification

Detail

Overall height

13.5 inches plus or minus 0.5 inch

Profile description

Plush 15-inch profile

Comfort levels

Firm, Medium, Plush, Ultra Plush

Comfort layer

Copper, graphite and silver-infused memory foam

Micro coil layer

1,386 individually wrapped NanoCoils

Support layer

1,000 Foam Encased Pocketed Coil System

Cover

Premium Cooling Cover, silky-smooth

Base compatibility

Adjustable-base compatible

Warranty

10-year non-prorated

How does the Cohen Euro Top feel and support you?

The feel starts at the top. The Premium Cooling Cover is described as silky-smooth and is designed to keep the sleep surface dry and comfortable. Under it, the copper, graphite and silver-infused memory foam does three jobs at once: it cradles the body for pressure relief, it adds antimicrobial protection, and it helps regulate temperature. That is the comfort layer you sink into first.

Below the foam, the 1,386 individually wrapped NanoCoils move independently, matching the body’s natural contours and reducing motion transfer. Then the 1,000 Foam Encased Pocketed Coil System takes over for stability, spinal alignment and further motion isolation. The result is a layered feel: soft and cradling at the surface, responsive in the middle, and stable at the base.

Because Englander offers the same build in four comfort levels, the support experience changes with your choice. Firm gives the most pushback, Ultra Plush the most sink, and Medium and Plush sit between them. Pick the level that matches your sleep position rather than assuming the plush profile means a soft feel in every version.

What do the cooling and motion features actually do?

Two features carry the Cohen Euro Top’s comfort story. First, temperature and cleanliness: the cooling cover plus the copper, graphite and silver-infused memory foam are engineered to keep you cool, fresh and supported, with antimicrobial protection built into the foam itself. Second, motion: the individually wrapped NanoCoils and the Foam Encased Pocketed Coil System both work to isolate movement, so a partner’s restlessness disturbs you less.

These are the layers Englander highlights most, and they matter for two common complaints: sleeping hot and waking when your partner moves. If either is a regular problem for you, the Cohen Euro Top’s construction addresses it directly through materials rather than through a cover gimmick.

Is the Cohen Euro Top a good value for the price?

Englander positions the Cohen Euro Top as a premium, high-tech mattress, and the build supports that: two coil systems, infused memory foam, a cooling cover, four comfort levels and a 10-year non-prorated warranty. A non-prorated warranty means the coverage does not decrease in value over the term, which is a meaningful advantage over prorated coverage that shrinks each year.

Value here is about what you get per dollar rather than a headline price. You are paying for a layered innerspring with antimicrobial, temperature-regulating foam and a tall profile. If you would otherwise buy a foam mattress plus a separate topper, the Cohen Euro Top consolidates that into one product.

See the Saatva Classic price in your size →

Still deciding? The Cohen Euro Top is a strong pick if you want plush and cooling, but a trial period changes the risk.
See the Saatva Classic price in your size →

Who should NOT buy the Englander Cohen Euro Top?

Skip this mattress if you want a firm, minimal surface with little contouring. The Cohen Euro Top is built around plush comfort and layered cradling, so sleepers who prefer to lie on top of the mattress rather than in it should look at the Firm comfort level or a different model entirely. It is also a tall mattress, so if you have a low bed frame or limited clearance, the 13.5-inch height may not fit your setup.

Buyers who want a long home trial should also weigh their options carefully. Englander’s page for this model highlights the 10-year non-prorated warranty but does not present a trial period, so if a risk-free trial matters to you, factor that into the decision.

How does the Cohen Euro Top compare to the Saatva Classic?

The Saatva Classic is the natural comparison for anyone considering the Cohen Euro Top, because both are layered innersprings with a plush comfort layer and multiple firmness options. The Saatva Classic comes in Plush Soft, Luxury Firm and Firm, uses a 3-inch Euro pillow top, and features dual-coil construction with Lumbar Zone support. It also includes a 365-night home trial, free white-glove delivery with old-mattress removal, and a lifetime warranty.

Feature

Englander Cohen Euro Top

Saatva Classic

Height

13.5 inches plus or minus 0.5 inch

11.5 or 14.5 inches

Comfort levels

Firm, Medium, Plush, Ultra Plush

Plush Soft, Luxury Firm, Firm

Comfort layer

Copper, graphite, silver memory foam

3-inch Euro pillow top

Coil system

1,386 NanoCoils plus 1,000 pocketed coils

Dual-coil design, triple-tempered steel

Home trial

Not presented on the model page

365 nights

Warranty

10-year non-prorated

Lifetime

Delivery

Adjustable-base compatible

Free white-glove setup and removal

Who should buy the Englander Cohen Euro Top: Shoppers who want antimicrobial, temperature-regulating memory foam, a tall plush profile, and four firmness choices in one build. The rating is based on five criteria: materials and construction, comfort level choice, warranty terms, cooling and cleanliness features, and transparency around trial and delivery terms. The build earns high marks for its dual-coil system, infused memory foam and four comfort levels. The 10-year non-prorated warranty is solid but shorter than the lifetime coverage some competitors offer, and the absence of a presented trial period on the model page holds the score back. Our scoring method weighs published specifications equally across brands so the comparison stays consistent.

Readers weighing the same choice often move on to our Englander Percy Firm review.

Frequently asked questions

How tall is the Englander Cohen Euro Top?

Englander lists the overall height at 13.5 inches plus or minus half an inch, and describes the mattress as having a plush 15-inch profile. The difference between the two numbers reflects how the brand measures the finished product versus the marketing profile, so check your bed frame clearance against the 13.5-inch figure.

What comfort levels does the Cohen Euro Top come in?

Four: Firm, Medium, Plush and Ultra Plush. The same layer construction runs through all four, so your choice changes how much you sink into the surface rather than what materials you get. Firm suits stomach sleepers, Ultra Plush suits side sleepers who want deep contouring, and Medium and Plush split the difference.

What makes the Cohen Euro Top cooling?

Two elements work together. The Premium Cooling Cover is designed to keep the sleep surface dry and comfortable, and the memory foam beneath it is infused with copper, graphite and silver, which Englander says provides temperature control alongside antimicrobial protection. The coil layers below also leave room for airflow compared with a solid foam block.

Is the Cohen Euro Top adjustable-base compatible?

Yes. Englander confirms the mattress works with an adjustable base, so you can pair it with an electric frame if you like to read or watch television at an incline.

What warranty does the Cohen Euro Top carry?

A 10-year non-prorated warranty. Non-prorated means the coverage does not lose value as the years pass, so a claim in year nine is treated the same as a claim in year one under the same terms.

Verdict: The Englander Cohen Euro Top is a well-built plush innerspring with genuine cooling and motion-isolating technology, four comfort levels and a non-prorated warranty. It is a strong buy for sleepers who prioritize a cool, antimicrobial, cushioned surface. If you also want a long trial and lifetime coverage, the Saatva Classic is worth a look.

Our pick

Saatva Classicthe plush innerspring with a full year to decide

365-night home trial

Free white-glove delivery and old-mattress removal

Lifetime warranty

Three comfort levels and two heights

Check today’s Saatva price →

Reviewed by the World Sleep Almanac editorial team, updated January 2026.

The Englander Cohen Euro Top is a 15-inch plush mattress built for sleepers who want a soft, cushioned surface with real engineering underneath.
